Donations

In making a donation to St. Gabriel's, you just have to put it in a plain envelope marked "Haiti" which can then be placed in the collection or
dropped off at the church office. Cheques to the St. Gabriel Twinning Project can be made payable to "St. Margaret Mary Parish" with a note
in the "Memo" section "Mission Co-op Haiti" (see the sample cheque below).

If you wish your donation to be directed to one of the four main priorities and current needs of St Gabriel's...

  1. New Road - it is a long and difficult walk to St. Gabriel's Parish
    (about a 5-6 hour walk - approx. 25 miles - and very slow and difficult to drive (10 mph).

  2. New Rectory - the rectory is the only place for visitors to stay. At present it is very small.

  3. Education - financial assistance is needed. $50 will pay school tuition for a student for one year.

  4. Medical Supplies - The first team will assess medical needs and will be able to report on their immediate needs.
you may indicate your preference in the "Memo" section of the cheque (ie, Mission Co-op Haiti - Education, Mission Co-op Haiti - New Road,
etc). We will then be able to designate where you want your donation to go to.

If you are sponsoring a child for education, then you will have to complete a sponsorship form for privacy reasons and they can be
obtained from the office or click here to download the Education Sponsor Form in pdf format (to be filled out and mailed to or dropped off at the church office).
