St. Margaret Mary (Alacoque) is the name of the church, and it is fitting to feature a logo that references her patronage. She is one of the saints who popularized the Catholic devotion to the Scared Heart. The logo features a variation of the sacred heart as a central focal point.

The parish community also has a devotion to the Divine Mercy, a devotion made popular by St. Faustina Kowalska. This devotion, which came after St. Margaret Mary's popularization of the Sacred Heart, expands on the the imagery and significance of the heart of Jesus and His love and mercy for His people. This is depicted by the rays of Blood and Water coming from His heart.

Another of the key inspirations of the logo is the church building itself. When viewed from Google Maps the church building is depicted in the loose shape of a heart. This reinforcing the necessity of including the heart as an integral part of the logo.

The stained glass windows are a prominent feature of St. Margaret Mary and when carefully observed they depict more blue on the left and more red on the right, this reinforcing the inclusion of the Divine Mercy and depicting the stained glass windows in that manner in the logo.

The cross is a key feature of the Sacred Heart devotion, but it also doubles as being one of the first things you see when you walk into St. Margaret Mary.
